Most of us geeks these days, when the subject of The Avengers comes up, start talking about comic book super heroes. Me, I have to clarify – do you mean the comics? or the awesome and ever stylish 1960s tv show about British spy John Steed, and his various badass female partners. My favorite of these is Mrs. Peel, played by the inimitable Dame Diana Rigg. She was amazing.
When I saw this cool yellowy-green serpentine centerpiece, I immediately thought of the ’60s style, the color and the shape both just scream mod to me. The square of serpentine is wrapped with copper, and hung from a copper wire wrapped bead chain featuring carnelian, chalcedony, serpentine, and pressed glass.
This necklace is 22 inches long and closes with a hook and eye clasp.
